Our Mission
Here at HopkintonCares our mission is to increase volunteerism in Hopkinton by connecting volunteers with nonprofits. Through this connection, we hope to promote a closer community bond and bring fulfillment to your life.
Our Story
This idea was born out of a noticed disconnect between volunteers and nonprofits in our community. Coincidentally, while this problem was being identified by community leaders from the Community Communications Group, Megan Murchie decided to combat it through her Gold Award. The Gold Award is the highest award in Girl Scouts requiring the Scout to take leadership and make an impact in her community. These two groups decided to join forces to create HopkintonCares.
